Templates are authored Continuum documents with a template: directive, production-tested inputs, and a purpose-built preview. You can edit every assumption because the source remains ordinary text.
Choose a template
Open New → From Starter, then search by template name, purpose, or domain. The production gallery includes personal finance, housing, career/income, and business models. Choosing a starter creates it in the currently selected folder.
How templates work
The directive selects a preview evaluator. Named assignments supply inputs. The result rail summarizes the primary conclusion; Preview shows the full presentation and Playground simulation.
Unknown or invalid assumptions produce warnings and safe incomplete states. Preview simulation never changes stored source text.
Public calculators and sharing
The free public calculators let anyone try all nine production models in a browser without installing Continuum or signing in. Change the input fields or choose Edit source to edit expressions directly. The monthly-plan demo on the landing page also supports sharing.
Choose Copy calculation link to capture the selected calculator and its current source, including comments and expressions. The link opens a standalone calculator with the same assumptions and recalculated results. The recipient's edits stay in that page and do not affect your calculation or their saved workspace. Copy again after editing to make a new snapshot. When clipboard access is unavailable, copy the selected link from the fallback field.
Reset example restores the selected calculator's original example and removes the shared snapshot from the current address. Ordinary calculator links still open their default examples. Reopening a copied link restores the snapshot in that link; subsequent edits are not automatically saved into it.
Anyone with the link can read the included calculation. Compression is not encryption. Keep private information out of calculations you share. Links that exceed the size limit or cannot be decoded show an explanation and a default example; a source that contains calculation errors is reproduced as written. See Data and privacy for storage and size limits. Public calculator sharing does not unlock Pro workspace features or share workspace documents.
